The v3.6 update is now live. It includes various bugfixes, as well as a hotfix for the bug where NPC generation was causing UI issues and problems when starting a new save file for some users. 

Other bugfixes include:

• When teaching a child about brainpower, they will now gain Alien Lore skill even if you don't own the Parenthood pack
• The buff icon for feeding a terrarium creature should now be visible for all users
• When on a lot with the Conspiracy Hub trait, you can only ask Conspiracists or the Lead Conspiracists about the gathering, not random sims
• The "Good Artists Borrow, Great Artists Steal" book will now leave the household inventory like a good book (you may need to sell the one you currently have and buy a new one if it's stuck.)

Edit: a file was missed in v3.6 - please update to 3.61. This fix applies to the buff squeamish sims get from feeding the terrarium creature (previously caused UI issues). Thanks to rainydayjules for the bug report!
